I am so excited about this: I am in the midst of building a Ski Season Training Program! It’s an 8 week online, video-based program that I’ll be looking to run with a Test Group this fall. If you want in, get on the mailing list below! I’m still playing around with the title, considering Ski Babes: Pre Season but I don’t want to scare off the guys 🙂 I’d love to hear your opinion on this – sarah@sarahmhistand.com

Current challenges: balancing the big vision (outdoor videos, with multiple people, drone footage, etc.) with the reality of complicated scheduling (everyone has their own busy lives!) and our crappy fall weather so far!

Tabata Bootcamp is running in Valdez for fall season. This fall I am teaching a Noon Squad class (12:15-12:45pm M/T/Th) at the PWSC Health & Fitness Center. Next round begins on October 23. Check the PWSC H&FC site for registration details. I also have Tabata GX & Better Bootcamp Business Instructor Trainings in the works for Valdez and Skagway, AK on October 7. Contact me if you’re interested in those.

I have some tension between wanting to teach and wanting to not be busy, so I’m working on choosing projects strategically so as not to be too overwhelmed or stressed, and to have lots of time for play! Weigh in below.

I have lots of different projects that I am excited about creating! I also have a 3/4 time job that I love, a boyfriend I like to spend lots of time with, AND a recreation habit that keeps me outside, especially when the weather is good. So I won’t be able to get to all of these projects right away, even though I wish I could.

Training for Ski Season: Ski Babes?

Set yourself up for a great winter of skiing and outdoor recreation! A series of bodyweight, backpack, and gliding disc workouts to build up for ski season! Start now to build up muscle strength, balance, and conditioning specific to skiing and snowboarding, including both backcountry and nordic.

Movement for Mood

Eight-week week group exercise practice, online or in-person. It’s a support group that focuses on improving mood and energy by getting healthy, on the inside and the outside.

 

Strategic Self-Care for Winter Mood & Energy Balance

Learn and practice using a body scan to check yo’self frequently, then develop strategic self-care practices that help YOU move toward balance. Beta testing group. *I am looking for some tech/app/algorithm/development support for this one, know anyone good?*

Health + Food + Fitness Coaching Group

This is a 12 week program, including daily check-ins, monthly group sessions, and a private social media accountability group. It is not for everyone, but it might be for you if:

  1. You struggle with healthy eating, self-care, and regular movement.
  2. You’ve tried all of the quick fixes, and now you’re ready to do the work.
